Do not buy your books at the bookstore! It’s a complete rip-off and should be a last resort. Try
Amazon or rent them through
Chegg.

Don’t stress out if you don’t know what you are going to do with your life after you graduate. Lots of people have no idea and they’ve been out of school for years! Just do your best where you are and keep an open mind, you never know where life may lead you.

Take a web development class of some sort. Learn how to use HTML or utilize SEO. This information is valuable on a personal and professional level.

Back up your computer and save CONSTANTLY! There is nothing worse than being a page away from done with a 15-page paper and… there goes your sanity. It would also be horrible to lose all your college photos.

Go to your classes. You’re paying for the things. In the future, you’ll have to actively carve out time to pursue intellectual undertakings. It sucks. Learn it up, baby!

Learn to prioritize. This probably the most valuable human skill, ever. Delegate your time according to your priorities (keeping your scholarship, sleep, partying, dating…) Train your brain to be a top notch decision maker.

Build meaningful relationships with significant people. Don’t dwell on mishaps with the failing guy that’s mad you couldn’t come out last night because you had a midterm today. He’ll probably reemerge being jobless and 20 pounds heavier. Instead, make friends with the straight A students and professors. Adulthood is all about who you know.

Do your best not to rack up the student loans. Be smart and don’t start your adult life in a
huge hole.

Last but most certainly not least, call your family once in a while.
